If I heard a politician encouraging people to fear other racial, ethnic, and religious groups I would feel outraged and disappointed. I would feel this way because people should not be encouraged to fear other races and religious groups because it could cause serious problems for the people affected and for society. If my friends, family and neighbors echoed these fears I would try to encourage them that whatever they’re being told to believe isn’t true and they shouldn’t believe it. If a race or religion I identified with was targeted I would feel upset and angered by the fact that something I identify with is being targeted in a negative way. I would also try to find a way to make sure that whatever is being said about what I identify with isn’t being believed by people in society.

If I heard politicians talking about encouraging people to fear other racial, ethnic, or religious groups. I would feel hurt that people see us as people in that way. Everyone has a past or done something wrong in life but, talking about them and putting everyone in that racial, ethnic, or religious groups hurts them as a human and as a community. Everyday Blacks are targeted, mostly black males its getting cold males wears hoodies or put their hands in their pants. Cops or other people feel like its something more or something bad is going to happening. Because that's whats on today's new "Black Males, Black Hoodie." It ain't right.

  3. if I herd this i would defend myself, religion and race. i would do this because religion is nothing to fear. also race is nothing to fear. i also feel that some people are too influential so they would wrongly influence people to have unnecessary fear.

  4. If I heard politicians encouraging people to fear other races i would comment on It because it’s not okay to judge people. You cant fear a whole race based off of one persons action. For example, if a terrorist makes an attack and he’s Muslim you can’t judge all Muslims based off that one incident. If my friends and family echoed this fear I would tell them to not judge a race or religion based off one event and/or incident. If someone was to target my race I would be extremely upset and angry because it’s unfair and racist to categorize all African americas based off what may have happened or happens. Overall, encouraging people to fear a race or religion is a sign of weakness.

  5. If I was to hear politicians encouraging people to fear other racial, ethic, or religious groups I would try my hardest to put an end to it the minute I hear something. I think that I would rally and complete as many protest as I could to let it be known what is going on so that others would agree and join me as well. I feel like it would be hard to accomplish a lot because politicians have power over most people in the world and their voice speaks louder than mines. If my friends, family, and neighbors echo this fear I think that I would do a lot more because those are the people who I care about the most so helping them wouldn't be a problem. I think that I would petition a document to have any politician who thinks that putting fear in people's heart is oaky to do. If a race or religion that I cared about is targeted I think that I would take matter into my own hands and maybe expose whoever is messing with my race or religion so in the end everybody finds out who they really are and rally to get them out of congress.

  6. If I heard politicians encouraging people to fear other racial, ethnic, or religious groups I wouldn't be shocked but i surely wouldn't be pleased. People are free to their own ideas and beliefs of others as long as they are reasonable and have plausible proof to back up these opinions. I only get displeased when people make outrageous claims and try to build an audience off of shaming a group of individuals with nothing but lies, no proof, and false claims. If my friends, family, and neighbors echo these 'fears' I would have no problem telling them the truth and combating the false claims. My family listens to reason sometimes especially when I'm passionate about something. My family and friends are people who judge others off of personal experience. My response when a race or religion that I identify with is targeted is nothing to be surprised about. My family and I identify as African Americans and a majority Muslim and that's the news favorite target. I wouldn't really care because like people like to generalize people but like I feel as though a singular person's actions should only identify them as an individual.

  7. If I heard politicans encouraging people to fear other racial, ethnicity religious groups I wouldn’t be upset. I feel as though people have their own opinion about what they feel. I only would get upset when they are trying to make their opinion a fact and their opinion might not be real. If my family and friends have a problem or misunderstood I would not have a problem with telling them the truth or facts because everybody need to know the truth. I am African American and I wouldn care what people think about me because I will always be who I am I wouldn’t change for nobody Because they have they own opinion about me.

  8. The idea of hearing a politicians encouraging us to fear any racial, ethnic, or religious message is sicking. A group of politicians should not generate the beliefs and ideas of people as the idea of having others influencing fear from false information. The thing I dislike is how listeners will use the information they recieved as a tactic to discrimate others for support on their claim. If anyone I know were to believe these claims I would advise them to not to be easily influence by anything published as everything isn't always true. I identify myself and my family as African Americans and being targeted by the media would be highly degrading for anyone to be targeted for any false accusations. I deserve to be equal as the next person.

  9. If I heard a politician encouraging people to fear other racial, ethnic, and religious groups I would feel sad and angry. I would feel like this because people should not be encouraged to fear other races and religious groups because it could cause problems for the people affected in this world/society. If my friends, family and neighbors echoed these fears I would try to encourage them that whatever they’re being told to believe is false and they shouldn’t believe it. If a race or religion I identified with was targeted I would feel angered by the fact that something I identify with is being targeted in a negative way. I would also try to find a way to help people not believe in it. That problem is adding on to the world worse not making it better.

If I heard about this certain issue I would defend myself,my religion and race. The reason for this is because religion is nothing to fear.Another this is race is not to be feared. I feel that some people are too influential so they would wrongly influence people to have unnecessary feelings towards the fear they have.

If I heard politicians encouraging people to fear racial, ethnic, or religious group I be angry because it is one thing to have your own opinion and another thing to enforce on to someone else. When a group of people gather to targeted one type of group it makes that group feel unsafe and everyone should have the right to feel safe no matter where they are. Discriminating others is hurtful and disrespectful. If I ever saw this happen I would comment on it and try to make a change. If my race or religion was targeted I would be extremely upset because at the end of the day we're all human and just because one person does something terrible it does not mean it should reflect the whole race or religion. If my family, friends, or neighbors echoed those fears I would tell them to believe what they want but I would also tell the that judging people isn't right and I would help them try to see the true side.

If I heard politicians encourage people to fear racial, ethnic,or religious group's I would seek to make sure that doesn't happen. I would do this by spreading a good message about these groups and explaining how the media has created a false sense of fear. I would tell my family and friends the same message. If my race or religion was attacked I would reach out to give more info and understanding about my race or religion

  13. 1. If I heard politicians encouraging people to fear racial, ethnic, or religious group I would be angry, disappointed. My reasoning is because everybody has the right to have there own opinion on those things but it’s a difference between having your opinion and straight just disrespecting them and trying to get people to go against them and hate them. Especially an politician our president Donald Trump for example, talking down on Muslims how he did but he’s suppose to be the president of United States, he suppose to be making America “great again” but he’s doing the complete opposite.
    2. Well today in 2017 my race African Americans are till targeted today. At times I tend to talk to other African American people and tell them we have to show people this is not who we are, this is not right. From decades ago African Americans were slaves and now in 2017 young black men especially are targeted. I try to inform other people us black peoples are not bad people I will continue to show other races especially whites the true side of African American people.

  14. In response to the first question I would be highly upset. You are not suppose to fear anyone but god, and to fear someone over race is stupid. They are the same as you no different but a skin color. When my race or religion is targets I stand up for my community of black people and Catholics. There is no reason we should have to fight for our race or religion because we are free.

  15. If i was aware of this of course i would defend my self and my own kind. I say this because religion or race isnt anything to be afraid to speak up about. But, some people speak up in a way people dont understand or a way people think is negative.

  16. In response I have heard and feel I might still hear politicians encourage fear and I have felt they fear etc when Donald Trump won the election and over time I had to realize a persons power and control. All the things a person says they will do or says is happening isn't always true. The only thing we can really do is speak out and encourage people to stay true and stick to what's best for everybody around us. We can't change history but we can try to help it not repeat. Speaking out is something everything can start with when addressing issues.

  17. If I heard these things I would not really know how to respond because this is not ok in anyway. So if this happened I would have to speak up in a way. If people I know echoed these fears I would say something to them also. That is not the way to go about other religions no matter what. When something I identify as is being targeted I will respond peacefully because if you don’t It only makes what they said about you true

  18. I feel that I would not want this person as a leader or someone that I would look up to. If my family and friend were doing this I would have to rethink my relationship with them. That should not be something to be encouraging people to do. We should love everyone no matter there race, religion or anything. If my race or anything was being targeted I would still stick by it because that defines me and who I am. You can not tell someone that they should not be something or that they should change.

If I heard things that I am unsure about, I wouldn’t really take it into consideration. Also if I disagree on that subject I wouldn’t let anyone encourage me to fear that. It’s all just a stigma. Not every person outside of the US that lives in Middle eastern countries are terroist or will harm people. I think that is where the problem comes in because of one person’s wrongdoings. I would be very upset because if I were in their shoes, I wouldn’t want someone to fear me just because of religious views. Then I wouldn’t be able to come to the US where there’s a lot of opportunity.

  20. If I heard politicians encouraging hatred and fear for a certain group of people I would be angered that someone with such power trying to influence to alienate groups of people for the actions of a few or someone who wants power and is willing to evoke people to hate and fear others for political advancement.

  21. I feel as though that if I heard politicians encouraging fear in hatred for a particular group of people, it would upset me very much. A individual or govern with a higher authority shouldn't influence such negative thoughts based on such little knowledge or small percentage that is not true. What we should do is acknowledge those facts that are actually true, that doesn't harm any individuals and stay true to what we think is best for ourselves and those that are around us.

If I heared politicians is encouraging people to fear other race or religion I would be angry because to see a country that states that they everyone is welcome don’t matter the race or religion. And if anybody I know that would fear a specific race or religion is not my friend. First, I would educate them to show that hate is not the answer. If my race and religion was targeted I would stand up for myself and others like me. First of all in today’s society it is a specific race and religion that is being targeted such as African Americans and Muslims. They view black people as dangerous to society and Muslim as terrorist they do this on the news or in articles. And some people who is the opposite of black and Muslim believe that they are harm to this country.

  23. If I was to hear a politican trying to convince others to fear a religion or certain other Groups I would personally feel offended and confused. I would feel these two types of emotions because one people that encourage hatred is why the world is so messed up and a person should Ben able to have their own opinion. I would also feel confused because I think that's against a persons freedom of speech to believe and feel however they want to feel. If a friend or family member was to encounter the same I would try to encourage them to make their own decisions and react off their own opinions. If a race or group of mine was to be targeted I would try my best to fight against it and still continue to stick up for what I believe is right. When a another person attacks a group of people for their beliefs I think it's disrespectful because this is a free contest and we are able to feel the way we want.

  24. If I was to hear a politician trying to persuade people to fear a religion or race personally me I would feel disrespected. I hate people that encourage hatred because they have power. We need to acknowledge that we need a system to make things equal to make the right decision for us and the people around you. Also society in my eyes wouldn’t let this happen due to all the people who stands up for what they believe in.

  25. If I was to hear about a response to politics of fear I would try to inform people about what their putting their self into and also. I will also feel upset cause I don't think people should be stressing over race.

  26. If I heard that a politician was encouraging us to fear other races I would be mad because it’s very disturbing to think you can have that much power to change people mind sets so easily I feel like are generation is to smart to be out smarted just like Trump like he has power he is the president but what is he really stopping it’s just like the only way I️ see most of the problems that he will doing it’s like get a job stop being lazy he’s not hurting you that bad to stop your every day life well for some with other outrageous things he done I’m totally against him but it’s just like he’s not stopping us that bad from doing anything like just go about your regular life instead of being a follower and falling for all the unnecessary drama with fearing someone because if you fear someone it’s possible you will kill them then that would or could lead to war all for nothing just hate. When someone is hurt as a black race it’s heart breaking specially if it’s from a cop when they are suppose to be helping and making us but instead they break us it’s a crazy world but it’s makes me upset and angry and have sympathy because I️ lost someone who meant the world to me and it’s just like it hurt to say good bye or even if they are hurt it’s just like black lives matter
